An appeal from Captain Venkat

In 17 years with my personal efforts, I have helped 1.5 lakh military veterans, assessed 50,000+ applicants, created 2000+ resumes and placed more than 400. This is not enough to solve the veteran unemployment problem.

I have set a goal to find employment for 1,00,000 retiring soldiers by 2030. This is not easy, but can be achieved with public support.

A military-only job portal will make it easy for any organisation in the world to hire ex-soldiers. We need funds to hire people, buy software, hire servers, and do marketing for running such a platform.

Why should you donate?
1. We are a nonprofit with a clearly defined purpose.
2. Every rupee will be utilised frugally
3. We will make our financials and progress public.

Your contribution will go a long way toward helping us achieve our goal.

Jai Hind!

Capt. Venkat

4Why should I donate and where does my money go?
Over the past 17 years, our founder has used money from his own savings to help our soldiers start second careers. With free career-helping programmes that have helped more than 1.5 million veterans, Xainik is one of the most trusted and respected veteran-friendly programmes in India. It is also the only major programme run by a non-profit, the Veteran Success Foundation. Unlike other businesses, Xainik doesn't make money by selling ads or by selling information about its users. Instead, Xainik is supported by its military community beneficiaries and people who want to give back to our soldiers and keep supporting Xainik's work. With this financial model, Xainik can stay neutral, trustworthy, and free of business interests. Where your donation goes: Technology: Servers, bandwidth, maintenance, development. Xainik runs on a fraction of what other commercial organizations spend. People and Projects: The other top websites have hundreds of employees. We have a lean staff to support a wide variety of activities, making your donation a great investment in a highly-efficient not-for-profit organization.
5Why do you need funds when you already have some?
Maintaining good financial reserves and having a working capital policy is seen as a best practise for all types of organisations. The Board of Directors of the Veteran Success Foundation recently set up our working capital policy. This policy is meant to keep our work going and help affiliates and volunteers in case of unplanned expenses, emergencies, or shortfalls in income. It also gives us enough cash flow to pay for all of our costs throughout the year.
6What is your refund policy?
If you wish to have your donation refunded for any reason, please contact us via email at donate@xainik.org and include the following information: Donor's full name Donation date — All refund requests must be made within 90 days of the donation date. 7What are the plans for Xainik's future? Where are you going?
What are the future plans for Xainik? What are your plans? When we first launched Xainik, we ran every possible experiment to ensure that our ideas were viable and scalable. Throughout the process, we asked ourselves, "Where do we want Xainik and our mission to go?" What opportunities and challenges await us in the future? What technological, employment, information, and access trends will shape our future? Based on our research and user needs, we intend to create a career helpdesk for soldiers that will include a resume preparation, interview preparation, and job orientation platform. This direction encourages us to be bold and experiment in the future, as we have done in the past, and it is based on our mission of serving our soldiers.
